I know Suboxone does not show up in a standard test. But the job I am applying for may do an extended test. I have a prescription from my Doc and I am on 16mg a day which by the way is wonderful. But I was wondering if anyone knows how long till my urine's clean?

How long does Suboxone take to exit your system to the point you will pass a urine test if you have been using? And if I dont wanna wait, any sugg. to mask it and pass it still being dirty?

I was tested twice a week in my out patient rehab program for three months. I have never had suboxone show up on any of the tests. Nor were their any false positives. However I dont know if suboxone shows up in a hair test. If your doctor did give you a perscription then bring either a doctors note or your pharmacy reciept to the test just to be safe, so they dont make any assumptions. If you dont have either, then it will be out of your system in 24 hours.

The above poster is correct, if you are legally taking it as prescribed by your doctor, then you need to make them aware of it when you go in for your test.

In some instances, it will negate the entire test, depending on which type they are using.

Some places will just do the test anyway, then if they get a positive result, they will call you to ask what you are taking and they will ask for your doctor's information to confirm it.

if you have a legit prescription for the stuff, it doesn't matter if you test positive for it. you are legally allowed to be taking that substance. if you have a prescription for morphine you can't get fired for testing positive for opiates.
