Suboxone And Urine Test (Page 3)

I know Suboxone does not show up in a standard test. But the job I am applying for may do an extended test. I have a prescription from my Doc and I am on 16mg a day which by the way is wonderful. But I was wondering if anyone knows how long till my urine's clean?

my husband worked a temp job and after 5 weeks the company wanted to hire him-yesterday he took a 10 panel drug test and showed positive for soboxin- which he has a prescription for and was hired and fired in one day-ITS SAD THAT WHEN SOMEONE LEGITIMATLY GETS OFF ME PILLS AND TRIES TO DO BETTER BY GETTING OFF THE DRUGS ARE STILL TREATED AS ADDICTS!!!!!! HE WAS TOLD THAT SOBOXIN SHOWED UP AS AM OPIATE TO THOSE SAYING IT ISN'T AND DOESN'T SHOW UP!!!!!!! THERE SHOULD BE A LAW OR SOMETHING TO PROTECT THOSE WHO ARE 100% TRYING TO LIVE A NORMAL LIFE AND JUST WANT TO WORK!!!!!!

Taking suboxone for arpund a year fpr about 2 months now i take like 1/8 of a strip at nite daily.i have an extensive drug screening in 5days for a job will it b in my system if i stop 2days b4 the test for a urine test hair test and blood test plz help need answers

This post is so silly, in they absolutely test for suboxone in urine. Even a simple 10 panel test otc. Also they test for metobolites that your body breaks substances down to not the drug itself. You cannot put any drug in urine and expect it to test positive. One more thing suboxone has about a 37 hour half life expect it to be in your system for 10-14 days

According to Norchem labs, a privately contracted lab that performs drug tests for employers etc., suboxone has a half life of 24 hours and it's detection time for screening tests is 1-7 days.

You can take that for what it's worth, or if you are interested I will walk you through the math:

They say the cutoff detection level is 5ng/mL. Let's say you take an 8mg strip.

8mg in 5L blood (average male) is 8000000ng/5000mL or 1600ng/mL. So when you first take that strip lets assume for arguments sake the most extreme scenario, that is all of it gets into your blood i.e. 100% bioavailability (you can do this by IVing the strip, sublingually bioavailability is around 60%). Over each half life the concentration will halve and look like:

That is approximately 8-9 half lives to get below the detection level of 5ng/mL. And if each half life is 24 hours that's 8-9 days. If you want to assume each half life is 48 hours then it would be 16-18 days. And if 72 hours then 24-27 days.

So for suboxone to get out of your urine, depending which half life you use, could take anywhere from 8-27 days.

Please serious responses only. My job depends on it. I have been prescribed suboxene 8mg tablets for over a year for chronic pain(RSD) i am taking a urine test for new employment in the morning. They said it doesn't matter if im prescribed or not i have to be 100% clean. Anyone know any absolute way to get clean that quick?? Btw i dont take 8mg a day only about a quarter of that.

Did you already tell them you're taking it? If not I wouldn't tell them and I'm 99% sure that employer's don't test for suboxone unless for DOT and even then it's a company discretion.

Actually, ive done this at my dr.s office andvit worked until they started sending it off to a lab to be tested.

Sounds to me like your trying to hide something. Why lie about your prescription? This sounds like an addict talking OFF the wagon... just my observation!

I took a quarter of suboxone (2mg) last night and i got a call back from the place im trying to get a job at (grocery store) and they told me i have until 10:30am tomorrow to come take my drug test, will i pass if i drink a ton of water or something? i really need this job.

8 panel drug test does not test for buprenorphinea 10 panel drug test does test for it .I went to jail and it took me 15 days to until I passed a drug test so I can go on work release I was that hope taking 4 milligrams a day hope

I have had several lab results that came back showing I had raw pieces of Suboxone in my urine. My doctor assumed I was putting strips in my urine and selling the rest. I was almost kicked out of the program and I had to go to rehab to prove I was taking them like I was supposed to and not selling them. Can anyone please explain why this happened? It was clearly a mistake and I cannot have this happen again or I will be discharged from the program. I need to find out what may have caused this to happen. Please help!

I have a question? Like I've always said, I'm no expert...Some things I know, some I don't. OK, this is true what I'm about to ask.. A friend, my neighbor actually also takes SUBUTEX, she ran out today...She has some old Suboxone from before and is not supposed take anymore because then her Dr will know she is over using. She is a few days before her appt, she took some of her Suboxone, will it show up in a drug screen, urine or the send out test? Will the narcan stuff show on either drug screens? The Naloxone stuff? I don't have a clue, she has done everything right...Just went a few days short. Thank you to anyone who can help!

Need help.. Have a urine test in morning will be sent to Lab, i have not used since Sunday around 1 pm.. Will i show up clean? Also how much subones should i take to bring my leavels back to 100 persent cuz they will be testing for that as well since im subcribed them i take 8-2 mg films 2 times a day.. Please Help
