Suboxone Added To Synthetic Urine. Why Would This Happen?

I started taking suboxone about a year ago. I smoke cannabis and drink the occasional beer but other than that, I am clean from all substances. I have not touched an opiate since (other than my sub, obviously).

When I started, I did not want to quit cannabis and I read you can add a bit of sub to the urine. I have been doing this for a year, and it's worked like a charm.

A few months ago, I had a false positive result. I figured it was because I added to much sub. I started adding less and went back to passing with no questions raised. I've been on it for a year, have had a test EVERY 1-2 weeks, and have done this every time. Every time just about, it's worked fine.

Today I met with my doctor and he told me he was concerned because my urine was showing bupe, but not norbuphenorphrine. Norbuphenorphrine is the metabolized form of bupe and urine from someone who is taking sub will show both.

I'm so confused and worried as to why this would suddenly happen. He said it's only shown in two tests, the others are fine. How is it possible that this wasn't an issue 90% of the time, and now suddenly it is?

I know the simple answer here is that this is roulette and the only way to ensure the right results is to take sub as directed with no other drugs. If this continues, I'll have to either quit smoking or taper from my sub (a process which I've already begun).

I'm just so baffled as to why this was NEVER an issue in an entire year and suddenly it is??

I am actually going threw the exact same thing but I take subutex not suboxone but no did read that about how the beta whatever can come up different and that's because of something in our system that changes it and also u gotta remember that doctors and labs are cracking down BIG time on these false test and even certain labs are testing for Uric Acid purposely to see if it's real urine or not. I did my first fake test two weeks ago and put some crushed up of my med in it and doc said I passed but that's on site and now worried what if they do both testing on site and sent to lab cause I pay extra for testing. But....if you know someone with same meds as you or clean get there urine and put ur med in it and poor some into the fake idk could be worth a shot.

I am also taking suboxone and i just add a bit of my sub to it ...but it keeps showing up positive for oxy when ive never done oxy...i wonder if im putting too much of the sub into the urine? The clinic said not to worry because when they send it to the lab it comes up clean but i dont want any suspicion....has anyone had this problem

The clinic said not to worry because when they send it to the lab it comes up clean but i dont want any suspicion....has anyone had this problem...my friend takes subutex and has never had this problem so i suggest taking a subutex just to add to the urine but to answer peoples question yes you can add subs to your false pee...pill form is better than the strip and if they say its dirty for oxy ask them to send it to the lab....Idk why the white subs dont have oxy show up.....another thing you can do is buy a flush. You have to be clean for at least 24 hrs then you take the flush and add creatine...as long as you have taken suboxone every day it should still show up.

Okay you people keep asking the same question and the answer is going to stay the same. If you put suboxone in urine synthetic or not, they will find out.ut has to be metabolized.you might get away with it for a bit but youre really playing a losers game.trust me.you will be caught. The levels dont come out the same if its not metabolized. If you can't just take your suboxone long enough to have clean pee and just keep a stash of it incase of emergency relapse then why are you on suboxone? I messed up my chance on it by doing dumb ass s*** like this and im kicked off. If you want to be on subs be on them.take this opportunity because when you get caught youll seriously be kicking yourself. Subs are very beneficial and if you relapse you can tell your dr.its better to be honest, honesty is a big part of recovery. Stop lying stop trying to fool everyone, youre not going to win.if you relapse dont hide it dont beat yourself up...take responsibility for your actions and maybe you'll see its the smarter path or ignore this. Ignore everyone else who says anything you dont want to hear and tamper with your uas. Most drs will kick you off WHEN they find out so hope its worth it.

Okay let me ask you this, does your doctor do an instant test or send your test to the lab? Because I think if they send it to the lab they will be able to tell the difference if you used your suboxone properly or you put a sub in the urine.
