He waited 12 hours until he was into withdrawals and took 8 mgs of suboxone he was still not feeling well so he broke down and took 1 hit of heroin 30 min later. Is it ok for him to take more suboxone now 45 min after his 1 hit?

Hell no, you don't keep mixing those meds with the street s***. You're going to kick yourself into some serious precipitated withdrawal. I would wait almost 24 hours before I go into the subs. It's not pleasant to mix. You will be really really sick.

You need to have at least 24 hours of no opiates before you start suboxone because subs will put you in withdrawal.
