Suboxone Extra Dose

I have been taking Suboxone for a little over 2 weeks now. I have been addicted to every kind of opiate for about 15 years.. Recently became addicted to morphine taking about 150 mg a day.. Decided I was sick of being sick and wanted to change before my 30th birthday. My Question is... I am prescribed three 8 mg strips a day and now into my 3rd week am having thoughts if wanting to abuse it. At first it was like it was gonna change my life.. I felt great!! Now I'm having feeling of wanting to get high again. Is my dose not enough? Or can I take two 8 mg strips at once?... I feel like taking it every 6 hours but my doc says take it every 8. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

When it comes to dosing, I'd honestly recommend discussing this type of question with your doctor, since this can be very patient specific. Hi I know this is old, but I have the same question. Did you ever figure it out? I'm on 2mg a day n it's been 30hrs since last dose. I was wondering if I took full 8mg strip would I feel anything ?
