I live in New Castle Indiana and am having trouble finding a dr that is taking new patients who have medicaid. Need help ASAP! Anyone know of any docs around my area? I am willing to travel up to 60 miles away! I have been on waiting list for Avon Ugent Care but they want my records from my suboxone dr that I had 3 yrs ago & just found out that I am unable to get them. Please help!

Hey, i hope you are doing ok, if you need a friend that understands you can speak with me, i know the hell all too well.
I went on subs about a year and 2 months ago, i had a head injury that led me to addiction and it is the worse!

Sir, I really feel for you and often times I hear in your post "I dont want them to think".....well I do understand that in part but you also have to relaize how you look to others really is irrelevent as long as YOU know where your coming from. That is (and I say this with all the empathy in the world) I do understand that you cant be seen to a new doctor as a certain way..but I think u need to let a "little " of this go..These doctors need to remember, THEY got us here, not other way around.,..Do you know I have been seeing same pain doctor for 3 years now...and I have went to her a few times with concern that the drugs although were helping me incredibly, was getting to be a concern.... I dont want a life of addiction and these are REAL addictions,..I used to be on meth and it was NOTHING compared to this kind of addiction...not even remotely close.... But time and time again I would see my pain doc and share concerns and they would BUMP my meds UP in fact.... Now a month ago I did not know that lortabs and oxys would come up differently when I took each prior to my visit there.... She informed me that one more incident and she would have to remove me from the program.... Mind you I had taken myself off her meds in past and tried to get on suboxen but the pain was just over whelming so I went back.... at any rate so here is where I am.... I now take alot more than I wanted to...allthough without them I can not walk up right.... But I do understand your pain with doctors....
