Butrans the patches only deliver up to 1mg of suboxone per day and you wear the patch for 7 days. It's a joke. The first patch I got only delivered 0.24mg per day. Don't do it.

Anyone that lives in Indy or near and is willing to make the drive. Avon urgent Care 10706 US-36, Avon, IN 46123 is supposed to be great, if you go they prescribe Suboxone to it doesn't matter if your pee is clean or dirty doesn't matter, they are supposed to be great.

Mike where is DR Mimms located? Do they take Medicaid MD wise? I seem to find that places take Medicaid don't take my plan. I tried Avon urgent care, they weren't taking new patients at the time but my understanding is that they have new doctor who is, but still doesn't help me cause I have to find a doctor within my group or network. I get confused but I did find out it's my enrollment period to where I can switch my plan. I hate how my life has ended up. I got addicted to pain meds a few years back due to multiple surgeries and my back issue. I talked to my primary care doctor and all he seems to wanna do is keep giving me more percocets and I am so bad they don't last and I turned to suboxone and I'm not proud of who I've become. I want a treatment program to help me manage my pain and I didn't want to admit it. Sorry typing a book here, just trying to give you a short version of what's going on and if you had any ideas or suggestions on doctors or pain management programs, I want to get off suboxone the right way. I wish I would have never got on it but I did and can't change that now. It does help with the pain. Sorry to bug you but any info is appreciated.

Im in Jeffersonville,IN and just lost my sub doctor. i started there 7 months ago. I just couldnt keep making the 100 mile drive to get there. I need a doc in the Jeff/Clarksville/new Albany or louisville areas. Whos good around here? I can afford up to 200-250 for the first visit. I have anthem hip state plan plus but no there are prolly none here that take insurance for the visits. Any help appreciated

I was just a patient of his also. he was just the kind of Dr I was looking for, or so I thought. I'll admit the first urine was mine. it was dirty as hell with thc and others but he said it was clean. well my 2nd visit I knew I had thc still so I used my baby cousins pee and he tells me it has methamphetamine in it? pleeeeze. then 3rd time the same thing. so I try to tell him there's no way. he threatens me. unreal. I WILL NOT BE HUMILIATED by him anymore. Sad, I thought id found my kinda Dr

Sorry for your troubles, I do believe honesty is your best bet, they Hafta know you have the suboxone in your system after prescribed. They also Hafta be sure you don't have anything in your system that could be a fatal mix if they do prescribe suboxone. I know it's hard, it's hard on me. I promise if you just tell the truth keep looking you will find a good one! Just use your own urine if it's not to their liking talk to the doctor, don't forget they are there to help you. You are not alone.

BamBam have you heard of any places besides Mimms who isn't taking new patients now, that take Indiana HIP? I'm near Kokomo/Peru not having any luck at all. Talked to Lucina in Carmel but it's cash only and it's expensive. Thanks.

Try API in Greencastle. They take hip. But you have to go at least two times for a U/A before they will prescribe any medication and you must have a Counselor that you see monthly.

I feel your pain with that I'm actually still going to the one in Greencastle and he is tried to tell me several times that I have several different drugs in my system that I know for a fact are not in my system and I am using my own pee. I just wish I could find a Doctor Who really actually cares about their patients and dissed doesn't want to be bothered by somebody who actually needs help. They just want patients to come in and P in a cup get their meds and leave

I am willing to make the drive to wherever if anyone knows about the other offices. I'm on MHS HIP. Is the other Dr. in the office just as good?, anyone know? Thanks alot. Been on Suboxone for a year and a half....takes care of pain and detox, lost job a few weeks ago and I just cant afford the cash prices for it all right now...dr. and scripts around $750....I just cant do it. Thanks for any replies.
