Hey, to anyone and everywhere you just may be in luck because I was in the same boat. I'm on the hip2.0 insurance through Indiana but it's billed, ask medicaid. And my Dr. Is located in Indianapolis. He is the best, most laid back, friendly yet serious about medical issues, and very knowledgeable about issues. He is a kind of Dr. called a psychiatrist. HE DOES TAKE MEDICAID. I called his office in December of 2015 and they said he does take medicaid so I scheduled my first appointment then while I was on the phone in December. He's very reasonable on what meds to put u on and your medical records. At my first visit he didn't even hesitate and gave me Suboxone 8mg film 2x a day. He wanted me back in a month to see if I'm doing well with the the Suboxone. When I came back in 1 month I asked him to give me 3 a day and he did and with 2 refills too. So I should only come back in 3 months. He also prescribed Suboxone for pain, not just addiction. Also I have found out that now it's already at a pharmacy tech. Allison told me that they have came out with a bupenorphine implant under ur arm just below the arm pit. Anyway his name is DR. ANTHONY MIMMS.

Thanks Mike! Think he has a wait list. So does he take hip for thr visit also. My hip only covers my meds which Im thankful for just that but not my visits I pay cash for. I tried to tell someone that I am prescribed Zub. for pain also but they didn't believe me. I read about that new implant. I'm not sure what I think about it. Lol
Update in my teenage daughter. She will be getting out of inpatient rehab in 2 days. Im nervous all hell that she may go bavk to using. The Dr. decided to put her on Vivitrol shot instead of Sub because shed young and only been using a few months. Anyone have an experience with the shot. I know its an opioid blocker but does it actually help with cravings also? Any info thanks.

There is a new clinic I. Anderson called Clean Slate they accept hip and Medicaid and a few other forms of insurance!.however they don't accept cash for the visits unfortunately.

Clean slate opened in August in Anderson, it is right behind the Goodwill store off Scatterfield! They take Medicaid and hip and a few other insurances! I need one that accepts cash! Best wishes to everyone@

Found a new suboxone clinic opening up in Carmel called Lucina treatment center. They seem to take cash BamBam but the only problem is they don't open until next month. But at least they dont make you pay separately for counseling which my current prescriber on the southside does.

Dr. Anthony Mimms 317-781-0067. He does accept medicaid thank god but you would have to call to see if he has any openings on his medicaid panel. I just started seeing Dr. Mimms at the beginning of June 2016 but that is when his medicaid panel opened back up, I scheduled my first appt in December of 2015 for June 2016. He's the best Dr I've ever been to!! He's layer back just don't lie to him or his staff they will discharge you from his practice. He can prescribe Suboxone, my first visit he started my on 2 8mg film and the next month he raised it to 3 8mg film with 2 refills so I only have to be seen by him every 3 months.

Not sure what kind of insurance you have but that new place by the Goodwill store called clean slate is accepting new patients! But you can't pay cash! They take Medicaid, hip and a few other insurances! Maybe worth a shot!
