Suboxone After Taking Opiates

I regularly take 10-12 mg of Suboxone daily. This month I ran out 3 days early, so I took 80 mg of opiates. Each day I took my last does of opiates at noon, it's now 7 pm. Is it safe to take Suboxone again? I don't want to go in withdrawals but I have always been told Suboxone remains in your system for 3-5 days. If so, is there enough Suboxone in my system so I won't go into withdrawals?

It's difficult to gauge, because how long it stays can vary from person to person.

It would really be best to wait until you're in full withdrawal, before starting it, again, unless your doctor directs otherwise. 80mgs of opiates is a high amount, so there could be a pretty high risk of precipitated withdrawals, if you take it too soon.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
