Suboxone 8mg/2mg And Roxicodone 30's (Page 16) (Top voted first)

I am currently taking Roxicodone 30's each day. I have suboxone 8mg/2mg to help get off of these. I know the suboxones are the best pill made to help with the withdrawals but I'm wondering if for the firsrt 3 to 5 days when I'm having trouble sleeping and feeling clammy, if i should take like half of a Roxicodone 30 (which i have done in the past), as it helps me to sleep and takes away the clammy feeling? Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks to anyone answering this for me.

Hi KC, very sorry it took so long to get back to you, I live in eastern side of Washington state. And I did look online and only found one that is about 2hr drive from me. But I may just have to drive that far if I can. I'm starting to get really sick,dizzy,etc restless legs super bad last night. O god I don't know if I can do this. Trying to be a grown-up here and suck it up and deal. But damn I don't want to get sick nor do I have the time. Thanks for your help.

Hi try to let yourself get into withdrawl to the point of almost losing your mind and drink water as much as possible. Then take 4 to 6 mg dose of suboxone...I hope this helps you get relief...stay strong.

I take a quarter of an 8th a day but if I don't take it I start withdrawing like the sameday could I take a Roxy and feel it the day I don't take my sub?

I been on subs 8mg for awhile! I to have indigestion that is the worse and I'm very constipated that I probably only use the bathroom a little maybe once a week! Very uncomfortable and maybe my hemorrhoid surgery has a lot to do with me mind set on just not doing #2 cause it was more painful than giving birth lol! But try less sub mgrams drink lots of water and eat a lot of food rich in fiber! Ask your doc what kind of heart burn meds will be right with your body! Since all medicine interacts with the other.

Yu can get that from that nasty naloxone I'm on subutex now and feel great no more headache heartburn none of that I was going though what yu went through prolly allergic to the naloxone so switch to subutex trust me

Sunshine-- I know how you feel. Are you still prescribed percs? Will you keep taking percs? Subs stay in your body for a long time. I have been on them 3 years and I take 2 a day but I know I can't go 2 days with out 1. The first day is bare able but I'd rather not. Withdrawals are terrible to both. If you are considering kicking the perc habit be advised that subs kill your tolerAnce for opiates. Which means you will need way more in the future so say you took subs for a couple of weeks and decided they weren't what you wanted and switch right away you are not going to have any high what so ever.. But if you wait a few days you will find yourself needing more then 7 perk 10s. Now you need 100 mgs a day. Also remember if you take subs to soon you will get so sick. Please wait till you are in full withdrawal. They work so much better. Plus you don't want to go into precipitated withdrawals. I have done this once 5 years ago and it was a nightmare. I had to go to detox because of that. Awful. If you have the right mindset subs can be awesome and an amazing tool to kick that nasty habit

Baby doll. Maybe.. depends how long u have been taking the quarter a day for. Ur best bet is to wait till the day after you haven't taken anything. You would have to take a lot to feel high from it. But it would prob keep withdrawal at bay

I have been on roxy's for about 1 year I have tryed a couple of times to come off without any thing to help. and can't do it i get depressed sick and feel like i am dying. I want off these things so bad i cry all the time. I just don't know how and which way to come. I am begging for help I hate how these things hurt my body. they have tore my life a part. please help me.

Wow Ya, I've done the methadone treatment now I'm on suboxone...I don't want to be on pills all my life for pain. it got so bad the pain due to a broken back and right clavical I got hooked on opiates ugh....my goal is to be suboxone free. I will get there one day at a time... the suboxone is great for kicking.

Yes you were close to death EACH time. Stop taking benzos and opiates. Some ppl can handle it but it solely depends on how your body reacts to it and obviously your body is saying no. I only am saying this bc the same thing happened to me once before on methadone and xanax. I will never forget that. That's why you see so many overdoses. Benzos and opiates don't mix. If you can come off of one of them, you may well save your life. I am on Zubsolv now and its a game changer.

Your still in the first stages.very early.I remember when i was there.I had a house,girls,truck,car,business,friends,money.and now I'm in a bar .broke.havint had a drivers license in years.didn't have a phone for a while.or power.water.you name it .I lost it.you won't die from that amount.you may want to in a few years.stop while you can.

KC.....if you are barely awake when you are having the feeling of paralysis, you are experiencing nocturnal paralysis. when the brain is in REM sleep you are dreaming, although you may not remember the dream. The CNS paralyzes the skeletal muscles in the body ( this does not include the cardiac system or the respiratory. Your brain needs all the energy it can collect in order to go into REM sleep. However, if you are fully awake when you are having the paralysis type feeling let you doctor know, put it in his lap and he will give you instructions what to do, i.e. neurology consult, EKG, serum blood tests, among other things. I have taken them the next day with no withdrawals but I have heard you can get sick. I think it depends on how heavy of a user you are. Subutex
Is a much better option to start with then u can move to suboxone. Subutex will not cause you to go into withdrawal because it does not have the naloxolone it in. You can also get subutex from a methodone clinic if there is one in your area until u can find a dr to write them for u. If I have no insurance then the clinic is the way to go. (Some clinics except Medicaid) I didn't have that so My dose cost was $18 a day up to 16 mg of subutex after that it went up a few dollars. But was still easier then trying to find pills on the street!! Word of advice, they will try to put u on methodone at the clinic. It is very addicting more so then pills in my opinion and the withdrawals are very long lasting!! I've been on methodone, subutex and suboxone. I preferred the subutex or suboxone much better. Wd from pills is nothing compared to Ed from methodone in my opinion.
