I am currently taking Roxicodone 30's each day. I have suboxone 8mg/2mg to help get off of these. I know the suboxones are the best pill made to help with the withdrawals but I'm wondering if for the firsrt 3 to 5 days when I'm having trouble sleeping and feeling clammy, if i should take like half of a Roxicodone 30 (which i have done in the past), as it helps me to sleep and takes away the clammy feeling? Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks to anyone answering this for me.

Could you please give me your email so I can talk to u. I just found out my fiancé has been going to a methadone clinic for 6mths now and has been lying to me about it. We have talked about him going to a saboxone clinic but I have now idea what he needs to do. This is all new to me but I am trying to be supportive but really need some input on everything.

You are incorrect about needing 2 days to feel anything from other opiates. I've read this from sooooo many people, and its purely false information. SWIM (and a few of their friends) take Subs during the week, followed by other opiates on the weekends. They generally take their last "weekday sub" around 6:00 am Friday morning and then their opioid of choice around 5:00 pm (same day) Friday evening; or approximately 11 hours after the sub. All desired affects are experienced as if sub was never ingested.

So, while I agree it takes some time (for another opioid to work) between ingesting a sub and then another opioid, I do not believe it takes 24+ hours, as a lot of people swear by. More like 12 hours based on multiple first hand experiences.

Well the suboxen does nothing for pain.sorry to tell u the badnews my friend. But on the plus side it WILL stop ur withdrawals comen off opiates.@

This happens to me all the time. Its actually when you wake up half way in the middle of a dream. has nothing to do with drugs or pills. I do way over 90 mgs of roxy s a day pretty close to 200 300 mgs. well not anymore ive been on subs for 1 year. But just wanted to tell you that. Cuz when you try to move you cant but after a min you can right! like you have to concentrate real hard!

I really need some questions answered, but i don't know who you are or what you really have to offer. I'm not shooting my d's but i sniff them to get a faster affect because i get the pain in my thighs that wakes me up due to disc condition that is bad n i can't afford the surgery. i'm perscribed three 8 mg dilada but find myself doing more some days due to pain or just needing them. guess i'm hooked. i did coke for about 20 yrs n then started smopking the s*** and it brought me to the bottom but i was able to kick that cold turkey, havn't touched it since 1998. :). I haqvbe a chance to try Suboxone 8/2mg but will it help my pain while getting me offf the opiads??? Scared and only have the one's with the blocker so i may be in a bad way for a while if they don't work. i got these from someone who was in a program for 8 mo. now he's offfing them ??? what am i to think.

I take 4 2mg Xanax & 3 30mg addera daily. I've been taking a lot of Roxy, Oxycottin, 100 mg morphine pills & dilata. I don't need anything for pain & was told by my therapist to look for something called Suboxen to avoid the temptation. I'm having agonizingly horrible withdrawals now.

When I had experienced this I Was on pretty much the exact dose about. THEN got on Suboxone. The first time I took it I never felt that hi ever again....but after a few doses u get no feeling and it doesn't help pain. I.M A pain patient, directions on Suboxone say NOT FOR USE FOR PAIN PATIENT'S. So the first week I couldn't wait to take my next dose. After 2 months cold turkey just stopped it. I have never been so constipated . I drank adequate wAter, big bowls of shredded wheats. THAT WAS scary it was like 7 days one time with no bowel movement. Went to Er got it resolved. So just some pros and cons of Suboxone it does work for cravings, I had no withdrawal on Suboxone. SUBOXONE IS BEST TAKEN 2_-3 days after your last opiate dosing. Good luck it does work..

I too have this happen to me I. . Taking .05 xanax 4 times day plus MSCONTIN 60 mgs. Every 12 hours at first it scared me but it has been harmless. I hope you are able to understand what and why it's going on. It s most likely a side effect.

you should know that barbituates and suboxone can be fatal mix....I suffer from epilepsy and was hospitalized for seizure induction..the specialist at a renowned hospital informed me that when I began to seize they could not administer ativan (typical protocol drug pushed to stop convulsions) because I am on subs....I was terrified that they wouldn't read my records at shift change and a doc would push barb's without realizing sub treatment.....my physician has lost 2 patients by interaction of nerves/subs

I think you should talk to ur doc. But yes its going to take a min. Im sorry ur going threw this. Did ur doc say take a piece? I jus want u to feel bttr. But im telling u ask God what in ur body is rejecting what? Plz listen to ur body. Not 1 person is the same.

I get random dizzy spells like im gona pass out and out of nowhere my heart starts pounding and face gets really hot and clammy hands . Yes....they do that. The withdrawal is not good but what i can promise is it goes away quick and im prayin for u. Without God its impossible. Keep goin im proud of u

i need some help i am taking subs now was taking perc 10/325 ten/day. for about a year. im trying to take just enough sub strip to keep withdrawals away but im having weird symptoms now and need to know if normal plz help me and talk me thru this i almost wana just give up

I am currently taking Suboxone Strips 8mg twice daily. Well they were wrking wonders for me until My doc started to lower my dosage down to 1 8mg film once a day and 1 4 mg strip once a day. now I can't eat, Can't sleep, body aches, puking, and withdrawal symptoms. And from what I've read, its beacuse now im not taking enough of the Suboxone now. I've only been on them for 3 months. and never have heard of any one getting winged off of them in such a short period of time. I can't go about my daily activites cuz i feel like Sh!t now. it sux. what should I do? Can someone please help me and tell me what I should do?! Thanks
