Stressed, Worried And Uncertain.

Hello there,
I'm currently 19 years old and I have been struggling with anxiety and depression my whole life. I only recently got put on Nuzak 20 mg.
I'm afraid that hair loss and weight gain could occur, how could I avoid this. I've also been feeling worse in every way and my period is delayed and I haven't been promiscuous. I was wondering if that's normal. I have been feeling irritated and at Edge . Can Nuzak really help and how long does it take. I'm really worried that Nuzak could be more harmful then helpful.
I don't feel happy or motivated at all. All I want to do is cry. But everything seems stuck and numb.
Please help.

No inconvenience, at all. :-)

This medication does not usually cause weight gain, it is more commonly known to cause weight loss in some people that take it, according to the NIH, but only when they are already underweight. Hair loss is possible, but not very common. I've been on this medication for years, and still have my full head of raging red.

It can also cause a longer menstrual cycle in women, so you may experience longer amounts of time between periods.

How long have you been taking it? It usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks for it to reach its full level of efficacy in your body to see if it is going to help you.
