Stopping Temazapam Cold Turkey Dangers?

I've been taking 60 mg temazapam for years for sleep. Ran out 4 days ago and refill in 4 days. Am I in any danger? I know doctor won't go for emergency refill as I had one 2 months ago when I lost bottle (I really did). Will any OTC meds help? Thanks

Stopping this medication abruptly can create the risk of seizures, so it you need to be very careful not to run out, as warned by the FDA.

Other withdrawal effects may possible include nausea, dizziness, chills, diarrhea, anxiety, and insomnia.

No real issues other that it took a few more glasses of wine and 100 mg benadryl to get to sleep. Face feels a little flushed and tender, oddly. I didn't think 60 mg/ day was that high of an amount anyway. I've got a few health issues that have highly priority, but would like to stop everything eventually.

Turns out I didn't have any of symptoms, maybe dry eyes. So went ten days wo after years of 60 mg/day. Don't plan to run out again tho.

yes. If you do not feel well within 72 hours go to the hospital. Tell them that you are going through benzo-withdrawl. When I went to the hospital they kept me over night and gave me the benzos that where registered with my advance psychiatric directive.

They asked me how many days was I taking klonopin; I was like for many years not days! they responded and I slept well _in a hospital_!
