I was on 10 mg of Brintellix for about 4 months and then my doctor added 10 mg of Rexulti. I felt like i was being stimulated. He then upped my Brintellix to 20 mg and my anxiety went crazy. I was having racing thoughts and couldn't sit still. In my mind i had to be doing something all the time. I also started having panic attacks. This was only over a 2 week period. I then dropped back to 10 mg and cut my rexulti to 5 mg. I told the doctor I wanted to switch back to celexa. He told me to just stop the Brintellix and start the celexa at 10 mg. It's been about 2 weeks now and I still have panic attacks and I wake every morning feeling anxious which last most of the day until the evening. I can't handle this anxiety. I feel amped up. It's like the side effects are continuing even though I stopped. I'm also taking 1.5mg of klonopin. Can this medicine damage the nervous system or am i going through withdrwal?

How long has it been since you stopped taking it, now? Has there been any change?

After taking it for 4 months, it may take a few more weeks for the rebound effects to wear off. The FDA warns that they may also include nausea, fever, chills, rebound depression, and anxiety.

Are you on any other medications?

How often do you take the Klonopin? You might need to up your dosage of it, for awhile, if your doctor approves.
