UpdatedCan I get any feedback from someone who's been in a similar situation? I have a very physical job... Am i going to be too sick to work?

There is really no way anyone can say for sure, since we are all different and may not react the same to any given medication. In most cases, people try to start a new medication, when they have a few days off, that way you can find out how it is going to affect you, before working, driving, or operating heavy machinery.
The FDA does warn that it could cause nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and diarrhea as side effects.
Have you started taking it, yet?
Can anyone with experience taking it chime in?
I am also genotype 3 and 30+ years. For the most part I've been ok on Epclusa. (This is the final week) but if I don't drink enough water I can feel generally unwell. I also get waves of fatigue. I find I need to drink a good 2 litres within the first hour after taking the Epclusa and then drink regularly throughout the day. This seems to make a big difference. (I often forget to drink). After the first two weeks of the treatment though my VL dropped from 24k to just 39! So I'm hopeful for a good end result. Previous treatment with interferon with ribavirin was worse ... and unsuccessful. I would advise you to not over commit yourself to other activities so you can get as much rest as you can during treatment. In the grand scheme of things it's only 12 weeks and soon passes. Good luck!
Re: Verwon (# 1)
Try Mavyret. It is expensive but it worked for me. I had Hep C and cirrhosis for over 30 years. Took this for 12 weeks and the lab tests show I no longer have either!! I had no side effects. You need to eat something before you take it at the same time every day.
I took Mavyret for 12 weeks. Had cirrhosis too. I am completely cured. Medication was almost $100,000.00! It worked!!
