Soma & Urine Drug Screens.

Hi!! I have been on Soma 350mg 4 x a day for at least 8 years. I am also on several heavy duty narcotics. I have Fentanyl 75mcg. Patches, and Percocet 10/325 to take 4 times daily.. Plus Xanax 1mg 4 times a day. Recently my insurance changed and Soma required a prior auth. to fill it so I was only able to get a 2 week supply. I was fine with that because honestly it stopped working and asked to be switched to Robaxin 750. Done deal and Dr had no problem switching me. Well, she needed an updated Urine drug test and she sent it out to get lab tested. Yesterday she called me in to tell me that NO TRACE of Soma was in my urine. I said. "Yeah, I haven't had ANY Soma in at least 2 weeks or a little more. She said even if I stopped taking them that long ago, a TRACE amount should have shown up. Then she says due to it NOT showing up, she can no longer write me rxs for ANY Controlled Substances.. She said I have to go to a specialist that closely monitors what I get. I don't get it?? I don't have Soma in me(but I should have a trace amount if I took any in the past MONTH!!??). that Soma has long been gone by 18 days at the time of the urine screen. So, I am being "punished" for it not being there. Not to mention, I was SWITCHED by MY Choice to Robaxin.Does anyone else see how Bizarre this story is? I still have about 20 Fentanyl patches and plenty of Percocet left until I can see this "addiction specialist". She is New and young and the DEA is on that office a lot and I understand she is trying to protect her license.. I would love to get some feedback on this!!
