Soboxone .. Please Help Me Get Off Please!!

Hi I'm so scared to totally come off suboxone.. I've been taking 8mg of subs for about 5 years .. I've never been prescribed them I just found them wherever I could. 3 weeks ago I went from 1-8mg a day to 1-4mg a day.. I was craving a little but no serious withdrawal symptoms.. Now I only have 10 subs left and I can't get them anymore ... This will last me about 20 days ....what can I do in 20 days to have the least amount of withdrawal symptoms .. Please help me I'm scared out of my mind!!!!!

Well, to be honest, the best thing you could do would be to seek medical assistance.

The Buprenorphine in Suboxone is a very potent narcotic and to stop taking it and avoid severe withdrawals, it needs to be tapered as slowly as possible.

Depending on how severe the addiction and dependence, the tapering period can take years for some people.

Have you tried consulting a doctor?

I didn't want to seek any doc help because NOBODY knows I did this .. I'm embarressed and just want to get off without anyone knowing... I know I should get professional help doing this but I don't know... Plus I'm a waitress and I don't have ANY extra money for doctors.. this is horrible!

if your form morristown, dr harris would be a great dr. yo go to to help you with this, ive used him before, he charges $120. every 2 weeks, i had insurance to cover my meds though...but he is a great doctor and they will let you use a nickname when they call you back into the exam room...the best by far in my opinion...
