I found a small round orange/ peachish pill with number one on one side and letter h on the other side please help me

This medicine is a light orange, round tablet imprinted with "H" and "1".
Generic Name: hydrochlorothiazide
Strength: 12.5 mg

My child saw a teacher at school drop several peach colored small round pills with a on one side and an H on the other.. no rx bottle, just a small white box.. any ideas what this pill might be?
