I've suffered from insomnia due to depression and anxiety . I started working night shift all week only off on Saturdayfor a month now only sleeping 2-4 hrs tops. my body is gonna collapse I don't feel well all the time i'm so sleep deprived , I started Lunesta 1mg for 3 nights didn't get that much sleep so right now I'm gonna try the 2 mg lunesta and just hope for the best. What are your experience/thought on what I should take for chronic insomnia stronger dosage or other sleep med?

Xanax has helped a lot of people as well as me get to sleep. It is anti anxiety but addictive.
Hello, Diana! How are you?
Have you tried Ambien CR?
It contains the active ingredient Zolpidem in a time released formulation, so it may help you sleep better and longer.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth, sleep actions and hallucinations.
It's an idea of something you could ask your doctor about.
Does anyone else have any ideas to offer?
