I have an orange yellowish pill with no imprint on one side and a line on the other to split down the middle. It's an Ambien pill most likely, but I just want to double check. ## In the U.S. all prescription tablets are required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency, this if a tablet has no markings, it is most likely an over the counter medications, though there is also a small change that it could be a foreign drug. The FDA warns that Ambien may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, hallucinations, and next day hangover-like effects. Do you know anything else about it, such as where it was found?

My doc prescribed 10mg ambien for and 50mg trazadone 1st nite, 1 ambien 110mg. 2nd nite and 1 ambien and 150mg trazadone 3rd nite . I stopped after third nite amd having 3 nites of insomnia . How long will insomnia last? I am going thru perimenopause so doc said I could take up to 150 mg trazadone and 10 mg ambien if needed. thanks. ## There is really no way for us to say how long your insomnia issues may last. It could be caused by the condition you are going through, stopping the medications, a reaction to the medications, some other health problem of a combination of any of these. It's available now. Theres coupons available, docs have samples. Some may need 20 mg. Personally, it appears to work better for sleep maintenence than sleep onset, doesn't seem to help w/ falling asleep, but does w/ staying asleep, may help to combine w/ something sedating like antihistamine, maybe trazadone or possibly short acting zolpidem (ambien) before bedtime. I used to take Atatax for itching and as a light sedative/antihistamine (1 tablet per night). Now Pfizer are no longer manufacturing this drug. my Dr has now prescribed Urbanol 10mg and I am afraid of taking this medication as i have read that it is the same as Zolpidem, Zolpihexal and these are for Insomnia and I dont suffer from Insomnia only the itching. Yes this little Peach tablet is Zolpidem I take these but I don't like them because I still wake up twice during the night and I'm Up by 4 a.m. and can't get back to sleep I used to take the same medication but in a small white tablet and I only needed half of one and I would sleep all night long I don't know if it's the manufacturer that makes him or not but this one is by Torrent. I have a blue elliptical pill that is scored down the middle with the imprint 0.25 on one side of the score. The package they came in was from a triazolam push pack. I have scoured the net and cannot find halcyon without some other imprint. Anyone know what this is?

I take trazodone every night as well as sparingly Advil pm and sometimes melatonin or benadryl. Can any of these show a false positive for ambien? ## Maybe it was the Tylenol PM that you took that would make it seem like it was an Ambien. I recently went to my Dr... Not sleeping at all some nights, up and down continuously. Having taken nitrazepam with no problems at all for 10 years and finding them a godsend when depression strikes. Have now moved to spain, am told they don't have nitrazepam and have been prescribed flunitrazepam, which i am VERY reluctant to take, mainly due to the anterograde amnesia which is a well known side effect. Any thoughts/ideas, anyone?? Would be grateful to hear from anyone else who´s made this change. Filled my Rx from a pharmacy in India. No serial number on tablet. White long oval shaped in silver packaging. Does not seem to work. ## Zoltrate-10 should technically contain 10 mg of Zolpidem, so this is a foreign version of Ambien. I don't think that meds from India have to carry inscriptions like how drugs in the US do, but there is a huge manufacturing sector for generic drugs out there. I was arrested for a DUI. I refused the breath test, I was given a blood test. My results came back .05 BAC. But diazepam was found in my blood and also nordiazepam. I had .043 MG/L of ambien in my blood.(Is this considered an amount for impaired driving? Also I have never taken diazepam and don't even know what nordiazepam is? Is there an over the counter drug that is equal to novel 123? it is for sleeping, insomnia. Need to sleep, have a bad case of insomnia. It's a small round pill with the following imprints on each side: Side (1): 2 / Z Side (2): 2 / 29 I don't know if there's any additional information I can provide in order to find out what it is. ## Is it a round pink tablet? If so, I believe the marking is intended to be SZ 229, it is manufactured by Sandoz and they list it as containing 12.5mgs of Zolpidem, which is a generic for Ambien, it is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia.
