Side Effects Of Perindopril & Amlodipine

I've been taking the Reaptan brand of Perindopril/Amlodipine (5mg-5mg) & now I am experiencing side effects as such as dizziness, mild headache, stomach pain, hypotension and finger cramps. I fear it may cause more risks to my system. Should I stop taking this medication?

How long have you been taking it? How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

If you have high blood pressure, or a cardiac condition, it is far more risky for you to let such a condition remain uncontrolled, since they have the potential to be fatal. They could result in a heart attack, stroke, or congestive heart failure.

The issues you've reported are listed by the NIH as being normal side effects of this medication, you may also experience increased urination.

Most side effects taper off, and then stop entirely, once your body gets to the medication, but that could take 4 to 6 weeks.
