Side Effects After 2 Years

I have been taking Nuvigil 150mg before shifts for over 2 years, with the option to repeat the dose, if needed.
For the past month I have had heart palpitations, anxiety, paranoia, SOB, depressed, crying, really been a bi---.
I never would have thought it was Nuvigil since I had been on it so long.
Over the weekend, I had loose stools, didn't have Rx refill. Today, my physician gave me a sample pack, I took one and all those horrible feelings started, again, to the most extreme level.
How is this possible?
I'm a self-confident, happy woman, whose personality turned to crap.
I don't abuse Nuvigil, have no reason to be depressed, haven't started any new medications, yet Nuvigil appears to have turned on me.
Has anyone else experienced this?

It is always possible for your body to start reacting differently to a medication, because our bodies change with time.

Everything you've listed are possible side effects of this medication. You may also experience nausea, weight loss and headache.

It could be that you may need to switch to a different medication, now.

I am experiencing the same thing. I have been on it for over 2 years 150 mg per day. Lately, I have horrible indegestion, tingling in my fingers, weird taste in my mouth and headaches as well as clenching my teeth! I would love to be able to stop taking this but I have severe daytime sleepiness.
