how long a person is required to take dizone tablet for quiting drinking?what are the side effects of this tablet?

Dizone contains the active ingredient Disulfiram and it is used to treat chronic alcoholism, so it is intended to make you more sensitive to alcohol.

Side effects can include:

skin rash
acne
mild headache
drowsiness
tiredness
impotence
metallic taste or garlic-like taste in the mouth

If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:

excessive tiredness
weakness
lack of energy
loss of appetitie
upset stomach
vomiting
yellowness of the skin or eyes
dark urine

As far as how long you're required to take this medication, I think it is different for each individual, but I would recommend finishing your prescription and contacting your doctor afterwards to determine whether or not it is something you have to continue.

I am on diazone for a week now. M also hvn liver issues and doc prescribed udibon for that. I am diabetic patient and is on medication for that too. Is it safe to take diazone with these kind of medicines.. Thanx
