should a person be working around manufacturing paper winders and machinery while taking Hydroxyz pam 50mg?

There aren't any precautions listed that tell patients to avoid operating heavy machinery; like we hear about with other similar medications. However Hydroxyzine may cause side effects that, in my opinion, could hinder one's ability to function at 100% capacity. These side effects may include, but are not limited to the following:

drowsiness
dizziness
headache
difficulty breathing
muscle weakness
increased anxiety

There are certainly many "possible" side effects for this medication that could preclude your safe use of the machinery. I guess the question is, how do you feel?

There are a lot of warnings on many medications far stronger, like my Oxycodone prescription bottle, which says "use care" when operating heavy machinery. It doesn't say anything about driving a car. But, if the police catch me driving and find it in my system, I could easily end up in jail. So...
