I was diagnosed with shingles and was prescribed with ACYCLOVIR 400 MG TABLETS and it says to take 2 tablets by mouth five times per day for 7 days.. But I don't understand? How many hours apart do I wait for each set of two tablets? ## I was just given the same med, but mine is 1 tab 5x day. My doctor said I didn't have to wake up at night for a dose, so I set this up: 6am,10am, 2pm, 6pm and the last one for the day @ 10pm. Hope this helps. ## My prescription for CARB/LEVO 25 - 100 mg reads: Take 1 and 1/2 tablets by mouth 5 times a day. The first pill would be at 8:00 AM. When would the times be for pills 2, 3, 4 and 5 - if bedtime is involved, which would be at 22:30 / 10:30 PM? Thank you for your assistance.

I am having difficulty finding this drug manufactured by Teva. I've transferred my prescription twice now only to have them tell me they can't get this drug. Hello, I had classic symptoms of thrush. Cottage cheese discharge, itchy burning irritation and no odor. Really swollen like I've never experienced. Had sex a week before for first time in ages so thought my pH may have been disturbed. We both had std tests prior and were clear. Saw a nurse and she prescribed Canesten cream plus capsule. I had already been using the cream externally for 3 days so I took the capsule right away. I started feeling a bit of inner relief but now my discharge is this thick liquid that looks cream colored when in there but on my finger looks creamy yellow and on white tissue looks yellow. I found half of a blue pill. It looks like it may have been scored, can't tell for sure. It has an imprint of either 86, 98, or 96? ## Valacyclovir - 500mg commonly used to treat herpes and other viruses. ## @Doc, From what I can tell, the 500mg Valacyclovir hydrochloride tablet I'm seeing is indeed oblong and blue, but the imprint on it is "F 82". So if it were broken in half there would just be the "82" showing and not any of the prospective numbers that were mentioned by Randi (86, 98, or 96). I guess it all depends on the condition of the pill and how Randi interpreted it in whatever state it was found, but as far as I know, 500mg Valacyclovir is still considered an educated guess and not necessarily the correct answer. I want to know is that Terrasil Max can cure my genital warts at my anus area? ## There is not cure for genital warts, they are caused by an STD and once you are infected, you will always have it. Terrasil Max is an over the counter product, that really isn't proven to help with anything, it contains a complex of minerals and it may not be safe to use in the genital area. Have you consulted a doctor for proper treatment? Hey I'm Gwen iv been using Canex V for three nights now and I was instructed to also lightly put it on the thrush but iv noticed it keeps getting worse the skin redness ,itching and the sores , isn't there anything else I can use to get rid of the sores?
