Can taking triamterene twice a day to prevent bloating cause severely painful cramping in the hands and feet?

In many cases, cramping in those body areas is a sign of dehydration, according to the NIH. Since this medication removes fluid from the body, it could be that you're not taking in enough to keep your fluid balance.

How much liquid do you take in each day? Are you on any other medications?

What dosage do you take of the Triamterene?
