I am having the same problem. After the first surgery the surgeon did some kind of damage to my arm that was in 2016 but no neck burning and to this day after X-rays and CT's nothing comes up and it hurts terribly and I like you can hardly lift it and have a burning pain. After my third surgery it didn't fuse. I have a different surgeon now and my neck fused but I am in worse pain with neck burning and I get a stiffness in my neck that I can hardly move my head. The surgeon said he did his job. I had physical therapy which didn't work and now will be going to pain management to see if I can get trigger inj's. or what they suggest. Will keep you posted. I know your pain. So sorry.
