Sensitivity To Noise
UpdatedHello, has anyone experienced a sensitivity to noise while taking pregablin. It's hard to explain but it's like if I'm in a room and someone speaks/bangs something/loud noise on TV, my insides jump. It's like a nerve jump kind of issue. It's driving me nuts as it's happening more and more often. I could be watching the TV and my husband speaks, the first word makes the whole of my insides jump. Unsure if it is this medication or one of the other meds I'm taking but only seems to of started as I began to takes these meds. Thank you xx

Hello, Claire! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're experiencing, I can see why that would be annoying.
This medication can cause some anxiety, as a side effect according to the FDA, so that could be what's causing the problem. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache and weight gain.
How long have you been taking it? Side effects are usually transient and go away in about 4 to 5 weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. However, if it's been longer than that, you may need to try a different medication.
