Scared Of Dying While Sleeping From Suboxone

Could I be at risk of dying from 2mgs of Suboxone if I haven’t taken painkillers in a long time? Help me, I’m scared af to sleep. I know I’m stupid.

Before I get into too much detail of the drug I should ask a few questions first.

Was the suboxone prescribed to you? If so have you ever taken suboxone previously so that you know you aren't allergic?

If I were to assume that this medication was prescribed to you and that this is not your first time taking suboxone (based on you saying it's been a long time since you previously took painkillers) I would say that the only way I can see you dying in your sleep from taking this medication is an allergic reaction that you suddenly developed. According to the NIH there is no warnings or reports that I can see that show death as a potential side effect apart from allergic reactions. Just follow the instructions that your care provider has given you and all should be well, if you begin to feel that something is going wrong go to the doctor.
