Suboxone Symptoms

I just started taking suboxone about a week and a half ago and meant to ask my doctor what to expect from symptoms and forgot. im experiencing extreme sleepiness, fatigue, body aches, and my mood can flip on a dime and im not even taking as much as he told me to...he told me to take 16mgs a day and im only taking either 8mgs or 12mgs a day, so my question is am i suppose to be experiencing all of this in the beginning or should i call my doctor?

Suboxone does contain an opiate, so yes, it can cause side effects that fast.

The FDA lists its other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

However, they should start to improve, after about 4 weeks, or so, once your body gets used to the medication.
