Wish I had luck like this instead of migraine & upset churning stomach ache. Prescription from Emergency room Dr. For cellulitis. Only taken 2 pills....after hours in ER in pain ...plan to give this more time, feeling wrecked.

I took my first pill last night then read the risks and they are some scary risks, such as colitis..c diff..just to name a couple and even death. I am considering asking the doc for a different antibiotic. I just do not like all the negatives especially when my aura is like Murphy's law... What can happen will happen. And mine is for a lung infection - then I read it can cause problems with the lungs... I can't do it.

You’d be MUCH better off with an anaerobic-type antibiotic.... infections down inside the jaw area are notoriously difficult to treat! Clindamycin is a commonly used antibiotic, perscribed by the endodontists....

Most likely the reason why you are itching is because antibiotics cause yeast infections. I know they do in women.

I took this medication and normally I don't finish medication but this one I had to because I had severe abdominal pains. Only problem is I was prescribed this medication also with a sort of hormonal booster to help lower my irregular period.
The side affects were depression apathy anxiety and a few times I fainted. I did have the occasional itch but it was a slight bother compared to my depression which actually got to the point of suicidal thoughts. If you feel these at all please notify your doctor right away. I already finished the medication but I still feel the lingering affects of anxiety sadness and feeling pretty apathetic. Not to mention I am always so fatigued which is hard because I can't afford to stay at home. People noticed the difference I was no longer talkative I was always confused (still am at times as a matter of fact this is my first coherent thought in about two weeks) lately everything has been a blur and its not pleasant. This medication is obviously not for everyone especially if you interact it with certain medications.
I couldn't stop taking these medications because I already had hormonal imbalance what it did was heightened everything.

I was prescribed this med for an infection. This is the second time I took it and I start to feel weird. Somethin will start aching like my feet or hips then I start to uncontrolably shiver and feel like im going to vomit. After about at hr of shivering I have a high fever. Idk if im alergic or if its just a side effect.

This stuff worked for me, I had an infection on my hand from an on the job injury. This medicine helped clear the infection. I would use it again in the future if need be.

I have been on this medication for 5 days now. But at first I was also prescribed vicoden to take with it. Once i ran out of vicoden, I started to feel extremely nausous and could not stay out of the bathroom. However, now that the vicoden is completely out of my system and I am only on this medication, I am not seeing any side effects. I have to take it due to an infection on my arm. The infection was very hot to the touch until I was on the meds for a couple days. Now there is a hole in my arm but it does look like it is healing. Like I said, I dont see any problems with this medication. And I am actually on a double dose taking two pills twice a day.

Never felt right on this medication.Very tired and had pain in upper part of abdomen,on right side.Pain subsided after stopping medication.Was told by someone that my liver could be inflamed.Not sure if that was the problem ,but pain is gone when stopping Bactrim.

Sinus infections are no fun. Hoping this med works. This is my third one. Amoxicillin then keflex with no improvement. I just had my 2 nd dosage. Praying it works with no negative side effects.

Did they give you the pills for the cysts/boils are that came out when you where drink the pills. since easter i been get in it one goes away and then i get more that whan it been going on so i told the Dr. about what is going on and i get med. for it but i get more med. for other thing . If i going to get more of this thing i going to stop drink it.

Update. By day 3 began feeling pain in my wrists, elbows, ankles, knees & back of my neck. Also developed a red itchy rash. Sinus and ear infection was on its way out. Didn't realize that was an effect that was a warning on the package until I reread it. Was willing to deal with the pain and itching until while @ work I felt somewhat dazed. When i returned home, i felt a weird sensation in my chest. One i've never felt before. It frightened me. I had to stop taking it at that piont. Also got the most horribile yeast infection ever. I really wished i didnt have side effects. I'd be done with this illness. The only lasting side effect is one of my wrists still hurt a bit and my knee hurts only if im trying to' work out.Â
