I SUFFER FROM WHAT IS REFERRED AS FREZZING ANXIETY. I JUST TRYED TO LOWER MY DOSE OF MEDICATION. IT PUT ME IN THE ER WITH BP 190/110 NOW DR TRYING TO TAKE ME OFF COMPLETLY. THESE NEW LAWS PUT OUT CAN NOW KILL PEOPLE. WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR ALL THESE COMMENTS I READ AND PEOPLE IN TRUE NEED TO BE LOOKED AT AS TRUE HUMAN BEINGS AND NOT DRUG SEEKING. NOW IM IN A PLACE OF A DANGEROUS PLACE. WHEN R PEOPLE GOING TO BE HEARD. WHEN I'M DEAD. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO GET DOCTORS TO HEAR YOU WITH OUT """ U LOOKING LIKE A DRUG SEEKING PERSON ANYMORE"" WHEN ARE WE GOING TO STAND UP AND SAY NOT ALL OF US CAN AFFORD PAIN CENTERS. I just had to take control of the room. NOT IN A AGGRESSIVE WAY BUT PROFESSIONAL. Letting them know my total goal was to make myself a TEAM of Doctors. Have to get to the head of that matter. I just found out I suffer from PTS from childhood issues. PTS is nothing to mess with. BUT ONCE IT CAME OUT. everything changed for me!! I UNDERSTAND BECAUSE I WENT FOR CONSULTING AND FIRST THING THAT HAPPENED THEY STARTED CUTTING. My talk with Dr aloud a door to open between us. Now she is listing. Be professional and proactive. And watch. Just keep respect for your Dr. Put control back in your hands. BE HONEST AND GO FOR WHY ITS HAPPENING. O seemed to help me with same problem!! Hope some of this helps. Peace be with you
Charly, I am assuming you're not seeing a psychiatrist. Even though regular drs can still write rxs for chronic pain and anxiety many are choosing to no longer do so. You need to find a psychiatrist.
Hi Charly,
I sympathize with what you're saying and truly hope it doesn't take any more deaths for the pharmaceutical industry to realize that they have a lot of issues that need to be sorted out with respect to the level of care patients should be receiving. Our country spends so much time, energy, and money on healthcare, but all that effort seems to only support the bank accounts of those in charge with very little attention on the patient's well-being. If a doctor doesn't want to listen to his/her patients, then in my opinion it's probably best to go elsewhere. They have a shady way of doing business here in America if you ask me... and I wouldn't want to support someone's clinic who wont even give me the time of day, let alone listen to our problems.
At the very least you'd think they would show a little compassion. I recently watched a documentary called "Sicko" (from 2007) which mentioned how in Canada doctor's get bonuses for helping their patients feel better according to their patient's biofeedback/diagnostics (i.e. doing their job as best they can without government intervention). Maybe it's time to move? Lol
