Sdz Pantoprazole Vs Pantoprazole

Is SDZ Pantoprazole as effective as Pantoprazole? And how do I take (one pill) of 40 mg. SDZ Pantoprazole each day? Label doesn't say whether with or without meals, etc. Thank you.

They are both the same, the SDZ just stands for the manufacturer, which is Sandoz in that case.

It should be taken with an 8 ounce glass of water, just before a meal, so it has time to start working, by the time your meal is digesting.
