Sad (socila Anxiety Disorder)

I was diagnosed with SAD (Social Anxiety Disorder) a common trait found in about 12-15% of the population. It is different for every person including me. I often suffer from anxiety/nervousness symptoms - sweaty palms, shaky jaw/mouth area, throbbing heart, shakiness, stuttering/trembling voice and so on.
I have begun using Pur Bloka which successfully keeps these symptoms at bay for 80% of the day including when I attend University.

However the problem is that I am susceptible to allergies which can affect my chest and cause tightness. The doctor said I should not take Pur Bloka everyday because it can have an affect on my chest. I almost ignored that advice and went on with it because it truly calms me, thus relieving stress and keeping symptoms at bay. My question now: Is their an alternative which works as well if not better than Pur Bloka, if so what and where can I get it? Thanks!!!

Pur Bloka contains the active ingredient Propranolol, which is a beta blocker that's normally used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.
