just received a text from my pharmacy saying that my doctor had sent over a prescription for me. I don't know what exactly it's for I've tried google to look and see but its frighten me because I don't know if it's just bv or trich. So I'm just really trying to see exactly what this dosage amount is used for ## Metronidazole is just an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections, however, only your doctor can tell you why it was prescribed, since it is used to treat many infections. I took Norflox TZ and Flagyl 400 for last 2 days, 2 tablets daily. Last night I felt terrible during sleep and woke up 3-4 times due to uneasy feeling. I took the pills necause my stomach was upset. ## Hello, Gosh! How are you? Sorry about the way you're feeling. Neither of those medications will treat an upset stomach, but they can cause one as side effects. Have you consulted your doctor? I had a miscarriage two months back. I have a bloody discharge with small clots still coming out. I went to clinic and I was given doxytet and metronidazole. But still no change. I have a pill that's small (a little smaller than a pencil eraser), round, bluish green & not shiny, with no markings except for a score in the front | middle for halving a dose. Vet says it is metronidazole but it is making my dog sick. ## In what was is it making your dog sick? Nausea, and vomiting can be normal side effects of Metronidazole, in both humans, and canines, according to FDA reports. Why was it prescribed?

I found a tablet in one if the kid's rooms that is round and yellow and has a groove through the middle. On one side it has an "R' and a smiley; on the other it has "A" above the groove and 321 below it. I had to take plan b in early November, and ended up having two periods a week apart from each other. 11/14-11/18 and 11/24-11/28. That was my last period. I ended up being prescribed metronidazole for BV which I think started from the two periods jacking up my PH.. I took 2 pills a day for 7 days and this was early December. It's January 3rd and I'm now 12 days late for my period. I'm having symptoms but can't tell them apart from PMS, side effects, or pregnancy symptoms.. they include: Sore breasts/nipples, fatigue, on and off slight cramping for a week or so now, hot flashes, more creamy white discharge, occasional headaches, and moodiness. I used flagyl almost 4 months ago for 7 days. I still have a terrible, sometimes salty, sometimes metallic taste in my mouth. Is this long term side effect at all normal? ## According the drug's side effect profile, a sharp, unpleasant metallic taste is not unusual. I've also heard that Peppermint candy seems to help, since it increases saliva production and masks the metallic taste. It probably won't make it go away, but should certainly make it more tolerable. Hi I've been having a white creamy smelly vaginal discharge and odor for months now. I found 3 Pliva 334's do you think these are strong enough to take care of this issue or do I need more. I was diagnosed of having BV and my OB prescribed Flagyl to take for 7 days. I had my period last July 13-18 and started the medicine at 07/21/17 until 07/28/17. I think somebody put another pill in my prescription bottle when I wasn't home that looks like my meds. Hy i have been pregnant in 2015 and i had a miscarriage. Ever since dat time i developed a viginal discharge. This year it got worse and was very was smelly, like something was dead inside me. On tuesday i went to the clinic and they gave me doxytet,flagyl and a shot i didnt get its name. Ive taken the medication but now my problem is that i cant stop goin to piss.. i tend to wanting to urinate every now and then even smaller drops... secondly the smell is a little better now but the dizcharge is still very much and iget very itchy inside and outside like i could scratch my inner and outer vigina and the dicharge smell like eggs which is better than what i smelled like before ... is the medication working or am i worried over nothing.. please help
