I want to be sure they are the same medication (Ritalin) because I may have mixed them with another medication. I take (seldom, but keep with me as I travel) clonazepam .05 mg-generic for Klonopin) that is the same color. Can anyone advise or should I take them to the Pharmacy to confirm? ## Hello, TW! How are you? I'm happy to help you with this mix up. The tablet with the SZ 790 on it contains 20mgs of Methylphenidate/Ritalin. Anybody have any opinions on which is better. I have an appointment next week, so I am getting informed ## Hello, Paul! How are you? I'm sure there are other people that will have an opinion on this matter, but what you have to remember is that the important factor is discovering what works for you, because everyone is different. Thus, the medication someone else raves about might make you miserable or have no effect and vice-versa. Learn more Ritalin details here. Learn more Adderall details here. There are links to information on both. When is your appointment?
I have some small yellow pills with a R on one side and nothing on the other side. This is supposedly 20mg. Ritalin? ## No, that's not a Ritalin or generic for it that's available on the U.S. market. With just an R on them and nothing else, they are actually most likely something that's available over the counter. Where were they obtained? ## I am going for a psych. eval. next week and should perhaps mention it to my doctor. What do you think?
Looking to get good price on my Ritalin ## Hello, Mary! How are you? round, white SZ on one side (or ZS depending on how you hold the pill), 789 on the other side, scored down the middle ## That is correct, this is a generic for Ritalin, which contains 10mgs of Methylphenidate, it's most commonly used to treat ADHD. You can learn more Ritalin details here. Side effects may include nausea, headache, insomnia and nervousness. Are there any questions or comments? Is there anything I can help with?
And possibly may need ritalin-- how does one go about being tested for adult ADD or ADHD and figuring out the treatment for it? I have trouble finishing projects and tasks; my focus is off in some way that makes me think tht perhaps this has always been a problem for me. I realize that no one will prescribe Ritalin without a diagnosis, but what if one sincerely thinks one may have this illness? I don't want to be considered a "drug seeker." My life would become so much easier if I could focus on the work I need to do. Thanks... ## Hi Melinda, I completely understand what you're going through. I have dealt with ADD as a child and still suffer as an adult. I've tried medication and I found that in time, it did more harm to my body than good. I've learned that the b...
It is thin white w/ M on one side and 10 on the other. Not scored but has 2 small lines, one above the "10" one below "10". Not completely scored. Is it Ritalin . ## Based on my research, this tablet contains 10mgs of Methyphenidate, the active ingredient in Ritalin. Methylphenidate is the most commonly prescribed psychostimulant and is indicated in the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and narcolepsy. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Methylphenidate Details I hope this helps!
Is this actually generic Ritalin?? I have looked online everywhere and since there is no other imprint I've had no luck.. Please help! ## I'm sorry, but I haven't had any luck finding it any of the pill identifier databases that I've checked, either. Do you have any idea where it's from? Such as the U.S. or possibly from a foreign source? Does anyone else recognize this capsule? ## Im guessing they are from out of the country or something because they are my sisters and she all of a sudden got something completely different. She has also been told some new medications dont have manufacturer imprints on them anymore? So that would make sense but I've been searching high and low with no luck.. Literally just a clear capsule, white powder NOT beads, with an imprint ...
small round white pill with a line on one side, other sidei see 85 or 05 asome of pill is missing ## small white round pill -M on 1 side / 1451 on the other side could be Ritalin ## There is a m inside a block on 1 side. On the other side there is the numbers 1451. You said that there is just the dash next to the m...? Cause there is no dash there is an outline of a box around it! I need to be sure this is generic Ritalin before its taken by the wrong person? Thanks!!
a strong prescription spelled something like methlyph to lose weight ## Hi Kim, I believe you are referring to Methylphendiate or Ritalin. It is prescribed for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy. Because it can suppress the appetite, Ritalin is occasionally used as a weight loss aid. Like other stimulants, Ritalin can be habit-forming and may cause other serious side effects. Understanding the risks before using Ritalin is vital for preventing serious health problems. Honestly, pills can help give someone a temporary kick start on working out daily, but what happens when you can't get the pills you need or desire; do you just stop trying to lose weight until you can obtain more? It's a serious question. In my opinion, maintaining healthy lifestyle eating hab...
What is this pill its a small white one no lines nothing on one side and on the other side has n and 10 underneith someone said it is a ritalin is this true? ## Hi Jenn, Based on the description provided, the pill you have is most-likely Canadian and manufactured by a company called Novopharm (also known as Teva Canada). It could be one of two drugs with the same imprint, both being white. If the "N" is very fat then it's a 10mg Tamoxifen Citrate (Nolvadex) tablet, which is an anti-estrogen drug. If the "N" is normal it's 10mg Domperidone (Novo-Domperidone), a gastrointestinal drug. There's other "N 10" imprints but they appear to be different colors. Novopharm is bad about ambiguous imprints, they have at least 10 different N 10 pills as far as I can...
I found some pills with 123 on one side and PMS I 20 on the other. Could someone please help verify what these are ## Hi Robert, Based on my research, the pill you have is most likely manufactured by the Canadian pharmaceutical company "Pharmascience". I haven't found enough reliable information to accurately identify your pill but from what I can gather, it could possibly be Ritalin. Ritalin (methylphenidate) is a central nervous system stimulant and is used to treat attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and narcolepsy (an uncontrollable desire to sleep). Here is a link to the Pharmascience's contact page if you'd like to ask them about the pill you have: pharmascience.com/canada/contact-us/ I hope this helps!

my son's brain is fiaring to fast for his body and speach and our dr suggested that he use epitec 25mg twice a day (he is 9 years old). Our dr thought that this would work better than ritalin. would you agree and what are the warning signs i need to look out for. ## What do you mean by saying that it is firing too fast? I'm sorry, but I am not sure I understand. Epitec contains the active ingredient Lamotrigine, which is an anticonvulsant medication that has also been shown to be effective in some people as a mood stabilizer. Learn more Lamotrigine details here. ## How they described it was, that his brain is working at the pace of a 13 year old. his attention span is not very long. our dr said that he didnt want to put him on ritalin as that would affect his moods and that is w...
The 1/2 that I found has an O then a line under it and then a 2 under the O and the line. the 2nd halh where it would have the rest of the letters, or the zero to the 2 is broken off. the back is blank. any guesses??? i wondering if its generic ritalin or adderall ## Throw it out! Why bother guessing? Your body is not a garbage can. ## You can find out what the name of any drug is by going to any of the medication sites such as Webmd and RXdrugs they have a pill identifier and you just need to put in the numbers or letters on the pill even generic and OTC. It is most useful.
What are the possible side effects of taking this drug for chest pain associated with artery blockage while also taking ritalin prescribed for treatment of narcolepsy (treatment of narcolepsy has been for about 50 years)? ## I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the two medications. Learn more Isosorbide details here. Learn more Ritalin details here. However, you should double check this information to be safe. Have they both been prescribed by the same doctor?
My son is 12 yrs old. Our dr. prescribed Urbanol 5mg capsules and 10mg Ritalin for him. he is not restless or moody or anything. Ritalin contains Methylphenidate and is usually used to treat ADHD. Learn more Ritalin details here. However, I can't speak for the doctor as to why he though your son needed them. Can ritalin and concerta stimulants show up in a urine drug screen? I take those medications, and twice now I've tested positive for cocaine. I haven't did any coke, since back in the 1990's. If anyone can help answer my questions, and give me some documentation, that I can show my probation officer. I'd be very thankful! ## No, neither of them has been known to cause false positives for Cocaine. Learn more drug test details here. Had you taken anything else within a few weeks of testing, even over the counter products, or antibiotics?
I'm only taking 1 capsule per day for the past 2 weeks. This morning I start getting milk (baby is 2 months old, but he is on the bottle since birth). Is it because of the Espiride capsules? ## Espiride contains the active ingredient Sulpiride, it used to treat Psychosis and mental health disorders. And yes, it can stimulate prolactin secretion, which essentially caused the production of breast milk. If it is problematic for you, you should speak to your doctor about it, you may need a different medication. Are there any questions or comments? ## Good morning, my son has been on Ritalin, Methofandate, Strateria, Concerta all for the last 4 years. I have taken him off everything. I am taking him to a physiologist soon to see where to go again. Someone mentioned Espiride 50mg. I don...
