Rhodes Pharm Manufacturer For Rp 10/325 Generic For Percocet

Horrible experience with RP 10/325 generic for Percocet 10/325 prescribed by my Pain Mgt Dr. I got the prescription filled at Walmart a month ago. Since that time, I have been in withdrawals, with aching muscles, mostly in my shoulders and wrists, the pain I felt before going on any pain pills over 25 years ago, also the chills and sweating, just as if I were in complete withdrawal. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was happening and he told me he has had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me...okay, so my husband is now picking up my new monthly prescription at Walgreens, and the manufacturer is Actavis, which I believe is the old Watson and I am praying they will take away the withdrawal feelings. Has anyone else had this issue with the Rhodes Pharm Manufacturer?
Yes all people taking any pain meds, make sure not to leave pharmacy with any Rhodes product. They are absolutely trash. Call your senator as well as DEA. Tell everyone you know who takes pain meds to not purchase. Veterans call White House 855-948-3211
I am having the same complaints as others concerning RP 10 325. I contacted my pharmacy and he said they could do nothing. It costs $275.00 with no insurance. Please advise.
Are the 10 325 RP fake Percocet? Is the RP supposed to be sideways or upside down?
Re: Jeffrey aka Kyd (# 16)
I agree with you on that. Being cut back hurts a lot people. With this new stupid law.
Same thing here. It’s very upsetting because I’ve been on Percocet 10/325 and the last 4 refills we’re all different manufacturers. They immediately put me in withdrawal with flu like symptoms, and the other manufacturers just didn’t help with pain unless I took 2 at a time (but still not the same as when I was first prescribed).
The good ole Watson brand was the best for me. Now I'm on no pain medicine. My Doc sent me to Rheumatologist, who for some reason drug tested me, which was not a problem. However, I was in so much pain I couldn't function, so my son talked me into taking one of his Suboxone strips. Pain was gone. I didn't even think of it showing up because it had been at least 5 days. Then I read where it can stay in your system for 8 days. It did show up and they called to ask me if I was on it. I said no, and explained as I had been telling my Doc that the pain meds are no good.
Next thing I know, I get a certified letter saying he was releasing me as a patient and that I should seek help for my drug problem! I was furious. Now I'm in constant pain and all Doctors want to give me are Antidepressants or Gabapentin! They don't work! Just put me in a zombie state, and no pain relief. I'm 52 on SSI and never got my RX earlier than usual. I could make them last a few days past the 30 days. I'm more depressed because I'm hurting all over and the new Doc asked if I have Mania, and could you be bipolar. Seriously. Wow.
I guess I'll never have my pain medicine ever again. Lost. I've been on them since 2009 after major abdominal surgery that left me in constant pain. Then it's just taken from me. With no other options. I tried Lyrica and couldn't even function. Cymbalta made my heart race and I would never eat unless someone told me too. I had nosebleeds, headaches, severe abdominal pain.
Doomed and in pain in Lake Charles, LA. I moved here 6 years ago and had trouble even finding the Doctor I had that would prescribe them to me, and even then he made me take 800 mg of Ibuprofen the first month because he didn't know me like my Doctor I had of over 10 years that really took care of me. I may move back. Doctors here don’t seem to really care or believe you. Sad.
Re: Quest (# 29)
So the 10s have only 4-5% of 10mgs?
It’s so evil what’s hapoening with generics being pushed on medicaid and Medicare patients
Re: Lil Nitro (# 15)
Yeah, I have noticed a marked difference in the Mallin--- whatever junk. I have told my husband that I think there is something wrong with this brand... confirms the fact that I am not crazy. This generic is hit and miss. Mostly miss. I was getting RP 10 325 for the last few years, they worked for me. The M523 10/325 should be pulled from the market, but who is listening to us anyway, we are all "junkies". Just ask the power on the other side of the counter. Oh "judge not"... I had to change pharmacies recently because of pricing games. I am such a POS! Oh the attitudes from these people sometimes. Oh well, they will learn.
Re: choice nonne (# 9)
Try a different CVS or request they special order the old pill for you. They can do this. I specifically request do not fill with Rhodes Pharmaceutical Percocet. Instead I take Qualitest (yellow oblong pill). Good luck.
Re: Fiftygirl912 (# 3)
Yes RP 10/325 works great if u take two, but generally only one pill is prescribed for pain relief.
Re: Mike (# 6)
Watson was bought out by a European drug maker so they can monopolize the market. Rhodes has also cut 10s to 4% and 5s to 2% by request of CDC/DEA.
Re: Jeffrey aka Kyd (# 12)
Actually the Tylenol that is in them is more expensive than the oxycodone. I know this for a fact because I had my insurance dropped for a few months, and I had to pay out of pocket. I found that the Oxycodone 10 325 with acetaminophen was way more expensive than just oxycodone without acetaminophen! I even asked the pharmacist who said that she couldn't understand it either. But before I was paying almost $200 a bottle for 120 pills and after the doctor just wrote a prescription for plain oxycodone no acetaminophen, I was paying $50! It's a huge drop! Today I fill the script for my husband, at Walgreens and it was different than what they normally have. I looked at it and it says Rhodes mfg... so I'll have to ask him and we will see how they work. But I just wanted to point that out to you. And his do have the acetaminophen and the oxycodone in it because it says 10 - 325 which is 10 mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen. We've been taking these meds 4 about 8 years for different medical issues.
Re: Julianna (# 21)
I’m all kinds of messed up right now after taking 2 10/325 RP’s ????????
Re: Fiftygirl912 (# 3)
I concur. The other oblong ones done nothing for me. Now these RP 10/325, I also take 2 ya a time. Feeling mighty fine indeed! No pain and woo hoo
Re: Skeeter (# 2)
hey skeeter what pharm. do you go to??? no one on here ever got them to take any back or even let you get half some other one Good For YOU pain is not funny
sorry my question was very vague, i meant a true percocet not a mix. got little sleep last nitewith these camber pills thanks
hi again, i just read that there is a percocet on the market . Is this true???
i got my scrip for percocet a week ago and instead of actavis i got camber, that is bull I have taken the one for years and yes they are Watson but anywhere as good. with camber my blood pressure will not come down and i am sure worried. make sure you check it before you take itor its yours. a mater of money for Walgreens not for user health or pain hope this helps
I have had my Oxycodone 10-325 rx filled using Rhodes Pharma a handful of times. I’ve been on 135 pills/month for the past 3 years and the first time I was dispensed Rhodes I thought I had developed a tolerance to the medication since it provided no relief. I have learned to avoid Rhodes by calling the pharmacy first when it’s time to pick up my new prescription. Two months ago every pharmacy I called had Rhodes, so I was stuck with them. If anything good came from this, it’s that I learned that I was probably experiencing withdrawals and as unpleasant as it was, I didn’t get the problem this month, after being dispensed a different brand (Actavis) and never get the problem with any pharmaceutical manufacturers, i.e., Mallinckrodt, Endocet, Amneal, Actavis or Qualitest, other than Rhodes Pharma.
Re: Sourpus (# 19)
I’m pretty sure the TB listed after the Oxycodone 10-325, 5-325, or whatever dosage you have been prescribed, just stands for “tablet”.
This is the first time I ever got these little white round Percocet pills with RP 10 325. It also says TB on the bottle after the name of the pill. What does the TB stand for?
