I've seen Chlor-Trimeton Allergy Relief 4 Hour Tablets range from $4-$7 in the current retail market, depending on the manufacturer and number of pills.
Unfortunately there's no specific details online regarding Chlor-Trimeton prices in the 1940's-1950's. Apparently the patent for this medication was approved prior to Jan 1, 1982; but that is all the information I could gather at the moment.
