Repace H And Amlodipine

I have been taking repace H and amlodipine to control HBP; one tab each nightly for the last 5 years. Being 56 years of age it lowers to 145/95 with the effect of loss of libido and ED. Should I change medication or dosage to lower it further? And what combination of medicine can I use to improve my libido?

Loss of libido and ED can be side effects of most blood pressure and cardiac medications, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Have you informed your doctor? They may be able to help you find alternative medications that will not cause these issues.

Are you on any other medications?
