Reducing Methadone Dosage

Taking 85 milligrams daily and would love to get off this stuff. What are the best reduction numbers?

I was @ 40 mg a day for over 20 years for nerve pain. When I finally started to detox went down 1 mg per month slow taper. I am at 5 mg. now. No sever withdrawals. Anxiety, sweats, irritability, but dealing with it. Methadone is hell. Slow taper is best. The sudden cold turkey thing is is terrible. Good luck my friend.
