Rantac-150 Mg With Tendocare And Dictat

I'm feeling pain in my right leg's toe and the doctor prescribed me RANTAC 150. What is the use of this related to pain? This medicine is prescribed along with two other tablets i.e. Tendocare & Dictat.

Please suggest, how much Rantac 150 is safe to take.

The Rantac actually isn't intended to treat the pain you're experiencing, it's intended to prevent side effects that the other medications can cause.

Rantac contains the active ingredient Ranitidine, which is an antacid, so it can help protect your stomach against irritation and other substances that may cause conditions such as ulcers, GERD and heartburn.

The Dictat that you have been prescribed contains Paracetamol and Aceclofenac and, since the latter is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it can cause stomach damage, so taking the Rantac with it is a very good idea.

And I am sorry, but I can't find any information on the Tendocare. Do you know anything else about it, such as who manufactures it, or what the active ingredient is?

Hi,

Tendocare is a product of bangalore based pharma company and it contains collagen peptide, sodium hyaluronate, chondroitin and vitamin c. This product is claimed to benefit Tendinopathy, but that is not true. I have used Tendocare for my mother for last three months, three times daily. But no use excepting mild pain relief....! so, this product rating is just below average.

My mother has taken Tendocare. She was having pain in Achilles and sometimes pain was interrupting her work. She was Rx'ed Tendocare and in 3 months time now, she says she feels a lot comfortable and without much hindrance. Doctor has strictly advised 3 tabs per day and it has gone very well for my mother. Also tried to gather some info online of this product, have noted international brands and they are for Tendinitis. This is a similar product and we have had a positive response, where nothing else was giving relief Tendocare did.
