Ran Out Of Suboxone
UpdatedI have stupidly run out of my suboxone. i have been on 3 strips a day for over a year and somehow this month i have run out. I really think my brother stole them, but that is another story. I cannot get a refill for 8 days and have only taken 1 a day for the last three days. i am down to a half of a strip and already i feel shaky, no appetite, no mental focus, tired (like a truck ran over me), and ache bad all over. I have fibromyalgia real bad and TMJ and some other things. My pain is kicking in and I don't know what to do. I don't think I can last 8 more days. I have to work and have a 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 year old to chase and take care of. What can I do to get through the withdrawal for the next 8 days?

hi, i have been on suboxone and methadone and withdrawals arnt nice, and your gonna find it hard to cope, so if i was you i would see if any family or friends could help you look after the kids because your gonna be pretty ill. if you can get hold of any diazipam or somethink like that then that will take the edge off or if u cant get hold of them then ask your doctor to prescribe you some pain killers with codine in them, they might help or try drinking booze too. and try and keep busy even though it might be hard but sitting there wil make u feel worse. i did a methadone detox and it wasnt nice and i kept having hot baths as it relaxed me for a little while. i hope this helps. good luck.

I totally agree with Sammy. It sounds like you definitely need to surround yourself with a support group at this time and find someone to look over your children so you can focus on getting yourself healthy and back in good spirits. I haven't personally dealt with withdrawal of any kind, but I'll do my best to offer suggestions that, based on my research, could be of help.
My first suggestion is to cut the last of the strip you have into even smaller sections. Having even just a minute amount of the Suboxone in your system may lessen the withdrawals. Another suggestion I have is to stay as hydrated as possible (preferably with alkaline lemon/lime water). Implementing lots of fruits/veggies into your diet will very likely help flush your system faster as well. Another thing you may consider trying is the supplement activated charcoal. I've read that it has been used in certain detox programs to absorb the accumulation of drugs in the body.
If you take sammy's advice and take lots of hot baths, I'm sure that could also help tons! Baths always help me feel better when I'm really ill. If you can get your hands on any essentials oils like lavender or chamomile, I would definitely add a few drops to your bath water to increase relaxation. Apple cider vinegar is another great natural way to help detox the body. It personally gives me a boost of mental/physical energy when I'm feeling sluggish.
