Hi Claude,

Tecta (Pantoprazole) is a drug used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which works by decreasing the amount of acid made in the stomach.

If I were to suggest anything that may be of help in curing this condition (GERD), it would be to to clean out and detox your system. Acidity can be caused by a number of issues, but is more commonly related to your diet, stress levels, and smoking.

I would focus your attention on eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, staying hydrated (consistently pee clear), exercising at least an hour a day to get your lymphatic system flowing, along with getting plenty of rest each night.

Also for the acidity problem, make sure the water you are drinking is alkaline. An affordable yet very effective option is to buy a bunch of lemons and squeeze the juice into every glass of water you drink.

You can even get "PH Test strips" to help track your progress in becoming more alkaline. All you do is grab a strip and swab your saliva or urine to determine the ph level. Becoming more alkaline should also help with your cravings for cigarettes and hopefully deter you away from the amount you're used to having.

I hope this advice helps! I can elaborate more on the details above if you have any more questions about it.
