Quality Control In Generic Amlodipine 5 Mg

The last 2 batches of Walmart origin IG 238 amlodipine besylate 5 mg has caused an adverse reactions of ankle swelling, pain and mild constipation. What's different? Both are source coded with a NDC of 68645-444-70. Lot # 160895. Exp: 2/2018. & Lot #161444. Exp: 4/2018.

Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination.

If they are problematic, you may wish to consult your doctor about trying a different medication.
