Qualitest Hydrocodone 10 325 (Page 4)

Although many have said one drug is the same as the other I find that Qualitest hydrocodone 10/325 seems to not affect me as far as making me drowsy and extremely tired. It does so help with the pain but it does not make me so I can not function. The other manufacturer Mallincor (spelling not right) their hydrocodone makes me so tired I have to literally go to bed. Strange I think that if two drugs are identical how can they have different effects to you. I prefer to not take any hydrocodone but until I am through this pain I prefer to take the one that does not comatose me.
I was just saying that they reformulated them when they took the yellow dye out of the Watson and now they are messing with the qualitest. Makes me angry that the consumer isn't notified or given any consent.
when did they stop making watson ? Actavis owns them and walgreens had them as of november 2015. There web sight says they still make them . They have been changed to white for a few years now . the watson release the medicine very quickly , I think the Qualitest last a little longer but don't feel as strong . The watson make you very hyper with anxiety while the qualitest make you tired . I can't sleep at all on watson. . there are a few other usa companies that make norco , I would stay away from any India brands .
Just to let everyone know. I've been taking qualitest Norco for a long time and just recently I found out they reformulated them. I called the company. I am outraged because now I extremely tired and and no pain relief from these. First they took away the Watsons and now replacement of these. I'm at a loss to what brand to take now.
All care bone and joint is a pill mill and needs to be shut down. They have had several people overdose in their waiting room. They are also under investigation by the DEA. As a cash paying patient, I waited over and hour to see an intern medical assistant for under a minute and they gave my my prescriptions and I still had to pay 165.00 for a DR VISIT when I never saw the dr. After my medicare was actuvated, they would bill Medicare for EXTENDED visits when I never saw the dr. Fraud. Not to mention, the office would fill prescriptions in patients names and charge for the distribution of meds in the office. Just disgusted.
I would suggest calling various pharmacies in your area and asking the tech what brand they carry. Also , I do sit down yoga, stretching etc it really helps! Costco usually carries Qualitest:)
There is a Pain Management Clinic right off of Rufe Snow and 820W. All Care bone and Joint Clinic.
Walmart has Qualtiest ,Give them a call .
I'm going thru the same thing. Since I cannot get the qualitest Norco 5/325 at any pharmacy in my area, I have been stuck with Watson brand. They just don't help my severe arthritis as well. I am in a wheelchair, and I cannot stand or walk. I hurt more, and have had nosebleeds, and headaches which I have never had in the past. My life has been greatly diminished. Does anybody know if qualitest pain meds are sold in any pharmacy either at store or thru mail order?
the white 10mg Watsons are strong but make me feel like i have lots of anxiety and energy ,do not make me tired at all ,make me itch like crazy and i usually end up not being able to sleep , Takes me 5 minuets just to pee, ( a nightmare ) I have to take diazepam just so i can calm down . I just got 10mg yellow Qualtiest and they are weaker but do not make me feel crazy help only a little for the pain and with a benzo I can normally fall asleep .They do make me a bit drowsie and a little dizzy at times . never tried any other brands . I hate that there is no pain pill that works fast and makes you sleepy anymore . Whatever I took years ago for some wisdom teeth were so much better then what is out now for me . I asked about the yellow Watson and no store will order the 100 bottle count that someone mentioned . The pharmacist said they removed all dyes so i don't know for sure that the 100 pill count bottle is yellow anymore .
Further,
It appears many on this post are pill seekers.
With any "pill" drink at least a 10 ounce glass of clear liquid or the medication will sit. Anything metabolizing in the gut is lost by about 50% anyhow so the longer it sits the longer it takes.
Ok on to the more heinous complicated and needy posts.

Wow, now that's the most information that I've ever seen regarding the contents of an opioid. So, to make sure I don't go around passing this new information around, where is some documentation? Thanks in advance!
To original poster:
Generic opioids are allowed (FDA) to decrease opioid content by up to 47% as opposed to proper amount on brand.
Your generics are a crap shoot and most on pain management need consistency.
Saw this in passing and thought I'd put my professional nursing stamp and pain patient knowledge on this fact. Be very careful in particular of generic patches if you have been on brand (which is all I can use). There is an extreme difference enough to put you in severe withdrawal.
there is a great pain management doc in the frisco area...dr. craig neleson
i hope this helps!
Thanks James, I do as well, but I'm having a difficult time trying to find a pharmacy that will be helpful. I recently moved back to Virginia, and my doc put me on Oxycodone 10-325, as my back is deteriorating faster than expected, (degenerative lumbar disk disease) and also 15 mg of MS Contin 2x daily. The first rx filled was some strange named generic for the Percocet, but I had been given an rx of that med while in FL, and I keep all the receipts from the meds, so I asked this pharmacy if they could order "Alvogen" as that seemed to give me better results than the other generic, and they did, so I'm in pretty good shape now. The Alvogen takes a bit longer to relieve the acute pain, but then after 30-45 minutes, I get relief. The MS Contin (morphine sulfate) also takes a bit to start working since it's ER, so as soon as I wake up in the morning I take a dose, and then wait for 40 minutes or so, and then start the day.
I hope this helps anybody that's having problems getting a generic pain med that works.

I find Qualitest to be superior to all others in there generic Norco.
I am grateful to find someone who is going through the same thing as I am between Qualitest and now the Watson brand. I still have pain after taking Watson when Qualitest gave quality of life back temporarily. I pray that we both find resolve in our search. I promise you as I request my doctor to help us locate this brand, and is successful, I will immediately contact you and ask that you do the same for me. This isn't a matter of addiction, but a remedy of relief of an illness that came upon me 2 years ago. RA.
Hi honest engine , I'm new to Texas , as well as any ever posting. I just was notified by my out of state doc that he can no longer write me 10/325 , or any other of my meds. Do u recommend a doc near fort worth or anywhere that is educated and or has empathy to reads us whom truly have factual pain??
I've had those yellow football shaped Norco. They don't seem as strong as others. My theory is they are more dense. Harder. It takes them longer to dissolve and get in your system. They are very hard to break in half. That's at least part of it. Ingredients could differ a bit as well.
Hi, I'm wondering if Qualitest still makes the yellow 10/325 hydrocodone/Acet, the yellow oblong pills. I'm with pain mgt., and find the new white Watson's do be very weak, and this began about 2 months ago. I've been on this same med for 2 years, so it's not tolerance or in my head.
Any pharmacies still carry these? If anyone knows, I'd be grateful. Sarasota FL.
