Pill is a narrow elongated yellow pill with Purepac Logo and number 039 on one side and 3 notches equally spaced on the other side. What is this pill and what is it prescribed for?

This tablet contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, which is a Benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
