Pulmonary Fibrosis

My mother is 58 yrs old. Recently she has been diaognesed as a pulmonary fibrosis. She is also patient of arithitiritis, mild diabetic and had undergone angioplasty in year 2006. doctor has advised her HCQS200mg twice a day,folitax 10 mg weekly, panagra 25 mg per day,folic acid 5 mg per day. these medicine has been advised for pulmonary fibrosis only apart from other medicine related to cardiac treatment. Kindly suggest is this right medication for treating pulmonary fibrosis.I request u all to reply. thanking u in advance

I am a 46 year old patient of IPF. I have been put on the latest drug called 'Pirfenex' 200 mg TDS since Nov 2011. This drug has helped me tremendously and my lung capacity has increased by almost 18% since. Do check with your doctor if your mother can have the same.
