Propranolol Head Zaps

I've just came on 10 mg of propranolol taken it for 4 days now. I've been having mood swings a lot and getting head zaps.. Is this the tablets getting into my body and trying to get used to it?

Yes, this medication can cause those types of symptoms, in some people that take it. The FDA lists the other possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

If they get severe or don't go away in 4 to 5 weeks, then you should consult your doctor as it may not be the right medication for you.
