Propranolol Er 80mg

Is this extened released like inderal LA? My Dr switched me to this. I have had great results with controlling migranes with inderal,can I expect same result with propranolol ER?

Yes, the ER stands for extended release and Propranolol is just the generic for Inderal, or what would be its active ingredient.

As to whether or not you will get the same results, there is really no way to say with any certainty. Theoretically, you should, but there can be some minor differences in generic medications, from the name brands and some people are very sensitive to those differences and find that some of the generics don't work as well. The only way to find out is to actually try it and see how well it works for you.

Propranolol is a beta blocker and may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.
