How long before my meds start to work on 40g propranolol 3 times aday for my high blood pressure and do they really bring your blood pressure down all I've felt is light headed and tingly feeling in my fingers

Ps been on them for 1 week so far and blood pressure still same plus all my blood tests ECG as come back normal do I have to just give it time

Daisy, have you seen any improvement yet?

It can take about a month for these types of medications to reach their full effect in the body.

If after that time, you don't see a result, then you most likely need to try a different medication.
